COG
COG is a group of ladies who, 26 years ago felt there was a need for a social/informative evening which would allow working women who could only find time in an evening to attend a social gathering of like minded Christian women. We meet every Wednesday from 8-10 pm in the Kirn Church Centre, Hunter Street over the winter months from September to March. We have a variety of speakers, a theatre visit, a Christmas dinner and other evenings when we get together to enjoy the company. All very friendly happy evenings.
Our membership is not now just ladies from Kirn Church but is drawn from other churches in the area including some non chruch members. This makes up a very diverse and well balanced group. At present we have a membership of between 35-40.
COG does not fundraise within the group but any organisation within the church and the community looking for helpers will find our members very willing to assist
Please fell free to come along and join us any Wednesday night and enjoy a happy 2 hours of fellowship followed by a cup of tea and a biscuit.
