Welcome

Welcome to the web-site of Kirn Parish Church, Dunoon!

Kirn Parish Church

We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland worshipping in a beautiful sanctuary situated on the seafront in the village of Kirn.

Sunday morning worship begins at 10.30am and a warm welcome awaits visitors and regulars! Children are valued as an important part of our congregation with ‘church family’ or ‘all-age’ services being held on the last Sunday of each month and on special Sundays such as around Christmas and Easter. On other Sundays we enjoy the children being with us for part of the service before or after their own activities in the ‘Sunday Club’.

Children are also present with us when we celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

We are enthusiastic singers, encouraged on the musical side by our organist and choir!

After the service there is an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with others from the congregation over a cup of tea, coffee or juice.

Through the week we have various activities taking place in our church centre, including a Lunch Group, a Women’s Group called COG, ‘Parents & Toddlers’ Group, Brownies and Badminton.

Special activities take place for fellowship, fund-raising and community outreach such as coffee mornings, ceilidhs, walks and united services with neighbouring congregations.

You are warmly invited to join us at any of our services and activities.

Rev. Sarah Nicol.
